Betty Lou Rand, 85, died July 15, 2015, at OU Medical Center Presbyterian Hospital, Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. She was born January 8, 1930 at Lamar, Colorado, the daughter of Hiram Franklin and Nola Esther (Gideon) Rutter. She married Doyle Rand April 17, 1949 at Coats, Kansas. She and her husband, Doyle, owned and operated Rands Properties. Mrs. Rand enjoyed reading and working in her yard. Survivors include her husband, Doyle, of the home; one son, John Rand and his wife Terri Jo of Oklahoma City; one daughter, Elaine Rand of Great Bend; three grandchildren, Tyler Rand, Eric Rand, and Dylan Rand; and one great-grandson, Brayden Powell-Rand. Memorial service will be at 2:00 p.m., Monday, July 20, 2015 at Bryant Funeral Home with Pastor Don Paden officiating. Ther will be no visitation as cremation has taken place. Memorials are requested to American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
