Beth Holl, 95, died July 6, 2017, at her home in Great Bend. She was born June 1, 1922, at Stafford, the daughter of Everett Clare and Zona Priscilla (Reese) Newell. She married Ottomer Lawrence Holl May 3, 1953, at Russell.  He died February 23, 1966. A longtime Great Bend resident, Mrs. Holl was a seamstress and upholsterer.

She was a member of First United Methodist Church, and United Methodist Women, was a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed crocheting and spending time with her family.

Survivors include one son, Dennis Holl and his wife Renee of St. John; two daughters, Diane Rambo and her husband Jim of Talkeetna, Alaska, and Donna Holl of Great Bend; one sister, Lois Rethorst and her husband Bob of Smith Center; and sisters-in-law, Betty Popp, Nina Newell, Althea Watts and Frances Nuss. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Calvin Newell, Dean Newell and Wayne Newell.
