Barbara Jo Moeder, 56, died September 22, 2007 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born November 12, 1950 at Great Bend, the daughter of Albert P. and Adella M. Machal Brenner. A lifetime resident of Great Bend, she was a homemaker and an assistant manager for Wal-Mart Pharmacy in Great Bend. She belonged to the Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose and the Altar Society in Great Bend. Survivors include: three sons, Adam Moeder, Great Bend, Kansas; Travis Moeder, Lawrence, Kansas; and Paul Moeder, Hoisington, Kansas; one sister, Sheila Becker and husband, Jerry, Great Bend; an aunt, Muriel Machal, Great Bend; and two granddaughters, Allyssa Moeder and Cailee Moeder. She was preceded in death by two sisters, Karen Becker and Alberta Boxberger. Altar Society Rosary will be Tuesday, September 25 at 4:00 p.m. and a Vigil and Rosary at 7:30 p.m., all at Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 26, 2007 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend, with Father Reginald A. Urban officiating. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2007 at Bryant Funeral Home, Great Bend. Interment will be in Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society or American Heart Association in care of the funeral home.
