Audrey C. Hall, 98, of Great Bend, died December 30, 2008 at Central Kansas Medical Center, Great Bend, Kansas. She was born October 24, 1910, to Anna and J. Andrew Casper. She graduated from Kansas Wesleyan University in Salina in 1932. She became a schoolteacher in a country school not far from Clifton. In 1936 she married George Hall, who passed away in May 1994. She taught second grade and special reading in the Great Bend School System from 1961 to 1975. She is survived by her daughter, Pat Hall Waldron, Great Bend, Kansas; by her son, Jim Hall, Belgrade, Montana; by three grandsons, Dan, Matthew, and Mark Hall, and by five great-grandchildren, Tristan, Malcolm and Aiden Hall, sons of Matthew and Jill Hall, and by Elliot and Anna Hall, children of Dan and Krysten Hall. Due to cremation, her funeral will be held at a later date. No flowers, please. Donations can be made in whatever form to any deserving person or animal who needs a bit of kindness.
