Arthur J. Art Maneth, 66, died July 3, 2011 at Clara Barton Hospital, Hoisington, Kansas. He was born July 13, 1944 at Hoisington, the son of Arthur F. and Mary (Busch) Maneth. A lifetime Olmitz, Kansas, resident, Mr. Maneth was a farmer and stockman. Mr. Maneth was a member of St. Ann Catholic Church, Olmitz. Survivors include three sisters: Beatrice Schneweis, Hoisington; Marjorie Thomas and husband Bob, Ellinwood, Kansas; and Mary Ann Wondra and husband Bernard, Hoisington. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother-in-law, Leo Schneweis. Rosary will be at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 5, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church, Olmitz. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, July 6, 2011 at St. Ann Catholic Church. Father Ultan Murphy will be celebrant. Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Tuesday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home and from 8:00 a.m. to service time Wednesday at the church. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials to St. Ann Catholic Church or Hoisington Ambulance Fund, in care of the funeral home.
