Anthony W. "Tony" Bailey, 52, died September 1, 2007 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center in Wichita. Tony was born February 3, 1955 in Great Bend. He was the son of Arthur L. "Jack" and Katherine J. Hudran Bailey. A lifetime resident of Barton County, he was an oil field worker for Mallard Drilling. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose, in Great Bend. Survivors include his mother, Katherine Bailey of Great Bend; four brothers, Lawrence Michael Bailey and wife, Toni of Fort Collins, Co., Rodney Raymond Bailey and wife, Martha of Simpsonville, SC; Donald Lee Bailey and wife, Jackie of Giddings, TX; Kevin James Bailey and wife, Aileen of Shawnee, KS; three sisters, Marilyn Ann Petty and husband, Steve of Great Bend; Alice Marie Neidhart and husband, Paul of Naperville, IL; Dianna Kay Allison and husband, Gregory of Great Bend; five nephews and three nieces. He was preceded in death by his father, Arthur "Jack" Bailey, one nephew and one great-nephew. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Great Bend with Father Wesley Schawe presiding. Vigil Service will be at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, September 4, 2007 at Bryant Funeral Home. Visitation will be 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery North. Memorials are suggested to the Prince of Peace Parish in care of the funeral home.
