Annette Kruckenberg, 81, died October 9, 2013 at Via Christi St. Francis Regional Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was born July 19, 1932 at Kiefer, Oklahoma, the daughter of Otho E. and Eva (Reynolds) Chancey. She married Robert L. Kruckenberg April 3, 1965 at Great Bend, Kansas. A Great Bend resident since 1963, coming from Lyons, Kansas, Mrs. Kruckenberg was a homemaker. Mrs. Kruckenberg was a member of Order of Eastern Star Golden Sheaf Chapter. Survivors include her husband, Robert L. Kruckenberg, of the home; two sons: Robert Lee Kruckenberg, Jr., and his wife LeAnn, Wichita; and Eric Edwin Kruckenberg and his wife Erica, Prosper, Texas; one brother, Edward Lewis Rensch III, Canton, Oklahoma; four grandchildren: Adam Kruckenberg, Caleb Kruckenberg, Chancey Kruckenberg, and Avery Kruckenberg; and one great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by one sister, Donaleigh Gilmer. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home with the Reverend James A. Strasen officiating. Burial will be in Lyons Municipal Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 9:00 p.m., with the family receiving friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013 at Bryant Funeral Home.
