Annabelle N. Spencer, 74, died February 6, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, Kansas. She was born July 15, 1937 at Goessell, Kansas, the daughter of Russell Everett and Frances Jane (Parsons) Wenger. She was a cook at Scott County Hospital and Clara Barton Hospital. A Great Bend resident since 1993, coming from Wichita, Mrs. Spencer enjoyed many types of crafts and had a special interest in Native American culture. Survivors include three daughters: Brenda Love, Hoisington, Kansas; Linda Shaffer and her husband Richard, Dighton, Kansas; and Pennie Spencer, Great Bend. She was preceded in death by one son, Wes Spencer; and one sister, Helen Zook. Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home. Burial will be at 3:00 p.m., Friday, February 10, 2012 at Hartford Cemetery, Hartford, Kansas. Friends may call from noon to 9:00 p.m., Thursday, February 9, 2012 at Bryant Funeral Home.
