Hoisington, KS Anna Ruth Laudick, 84, died at Via Christi Regional Medical Center, St. Francis Campus, Wichita, KS on March 3, 2008. She was born February 1, 1924 at Geneseo, KS the daughter of Jesse J. Hurt and Josephine S. (Rose) Hurt. She was a homemaker and enjoyed gardening, a talented musician and a beautiful seamstress. Anna married Leslie Laudick, July 6, 1968 at Lyons, KS following the death of her first husband, Robert Adams. She was of the Catholic faith. Survivors include: two sons, Robert (Bob) Adams and his wife, Connie, and Dale Adams, both of Wichita. 4 daughters, Connie Weber and her husband, Dave, Wichita, Julie Tubbs and her husband Ray, Levant, KS, Marla Breitenbach and her husband, Mike, DeSoto, KS and Denise Adams Overland Park, KS. 2 step-sons, Steven Laudick and wife Kim of Larned, KS and Alan Laudick and wife Brenda of Lakin, KS and a step-daughter, Lesley Neill and husband Claude of Clio, IA. Seventeen grandchildren, twenty-four great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and five step great grandchildren. In addition to her husband, Robert, Anna was preceded in death by a son, William (Bill) Adams. Funeral services will be at 10:00 am Friday at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington with Father Dwight Birket officiating. Interment will follow at St. Mary Cemetery, Chase, KS. Rosary service will be at 7:00 pm Thursday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home, Hoisington. Friends may call from 11:00 am until 8:00 pm Thursday at the funeral home. Memorials are suggested to St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church in care of the funeral home.
