Anna M. Hunsley, 94, died May 19, 2008 at Life Care Center of Andover, Andover, Kansas. She was born November 27, 1913 at Redwing, Kansas, the daugther of Frank J. and Mary (Koester) Rziha. She married Joseph B. Schon September 24, 1941 at Odin, Kansas. He died September 12, 1977. She later married William B. Hunsley August 30, 1985. He died March 13, 1999. Mrs. Hunsley was a homemaker. She was a member of St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church and the Altar Society, both of Hoisington, Kansas; and Daughters of Isabella, Great Bend, Kansas. Survivors include three sons: Joseph G. Schon and wife, Sandy, Scottsbluff, Nebraska; Wayne E. Schon and wife, Norma, Newton, Kansas; and Darrel T. Schon and wife, Leisa, Andover, Kansas; one daughter, Jean Otte and husband, Gary, Fort Collins, Colorado; one brother, Joe Rziha, Hoisington, Kansas; one sister, Catherine Hipp, Wichita, Kansas; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one brother Frank A. Rziha; seven sisters, Sister May Jordan, Margaret Olsen, Elizabeth J. Rziha, Agnes Penka, Mathilda Reif, Helen McCann and Rose Schneider. Vigil service will be at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10:30 a.m., Friday, May 23, 2008 at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, Hoisington. Father Dwight Birket will be celebrant. Burial will be at 2:00 p.m., Friday at the Great Bend Cemetery. Friends may call from noon to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, May 22, 2008 and from 9:00 a.m. until service time Friday, May 23, 2008 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials are suggested to the Harry Hynes Hospice or St. John the Evangelist Church Building Fund, both in care of the funeral home.
