Andres Ramon Rodriguez, 42, died July 29, 2017, at Dundy County Hospital, Benkelman, Neb. He was born Nov. 20, 1974, at Nayarit, Mexico, the son of Gaspar and Maria Jesus (Topete) Rodriguez. He married Wendy Mancia Jan. 17, 2012, at Great Bend. He was a custodian at Barton Community College worked for Murray Casing Crews and previously for USD 428. Mr. Rodriguez was a Great Bend resident since 2010, coming from Claremont, Minn.

Survivors include his wife, Wendy Rodriguez of the home; his father, Gaspar Rodriguez of Claremont, Minn.; seven sons, Andrew Rodriguez of Albuquerque, N.M., Joshua Rodriguez of Albuquerque, N.M., Andrea Rodriguez of Los Angeles, Calif., Saul Rodriguez of Los Angeles, Calif., Andres Rodriguez of Claremont, Minn., and Mario Rodriguez of Claremont, Minn., Isaias Rodriguez of Great Bend; three daughters, Estella Rodriguez of Claremont, Minn., Irene Rodriguez of Claremont, Minn., and Gabriela Rodriguez of Great Bend; one sister: Guadelupe Barbosa of Claremont, Minn.; one half-brother, Eddie Balbuenna of Guadalajara, Mexico; and two half-sisters, Laura Balbuenna of Los Angeles, Calif., and Marisol Balbuenna of Austin, Minn.;  and two grandchildren, Ariana Rodriguez and Julia Rodriguez.

Friends may call from 1-5 p.m., Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017 at Bryant Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to the Andres Rodriguez funeral expense fund, in care of the funeral home.
