Adeline F. Bryant, 87, died April 7, 2011 at Country Place Senior Living, Hoisington, Kansas, the daughter of Oscar L. and Ida E. (Emily) Brandon. She married Vivian T. Bryant January 15, 1939 at Columbus, Kansas. He died July 2, 1968. A homemaker, she was a Hoisington resident for fifty years. Mrs. Bryant was a member of First Church of the Nazarene, Hoisington. Survivors include two daughters: Deanna S. Vincent and husband Bob, Hoisington; and Lana K. Lyon and husband Tim, North Platte, Nebraska; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by one son, Dempsey T. Bryant; three brothers, Daniel Brandon, Lewis Brandon, and Roy Brandon; three sisters, Leola Clogston, Lula Clogston, and Eula Clogston; and two grandsons, Michael Vincent and Todd Vincent. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2011 at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. The Reverend Don Fisher will officiate. Burial will be in Hoisington Cemetery. Friends may call from 1:00 to 8:00 p.m., Sunday, April 10, 2011 and from 9:00 a.m. to service time Monday at Nicholson-Ricke Funeral Home. Memorials are requested to First Church of the Nazarene or Kans for Kids, in care of the funeral home.
